Tracy has been working in the dental field for 11 years. She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from College in Toronto in 1994. Having started her career in the dental field as a dental assistant she is familiar with all aspects of the dental office. For the past 8 years, Tracy has been the front face of a Haliburton Dental Office, where she was described as an integral part of the team. Tracy's positive attitude and outgoing personality have made her a natural on the front desk and she looks forward to meeting and assisting all of our patients. She enjoys building and maintaining relationships with people and is devoted to providing all patients with optimal care and attention.
Aside from the dental office, Tracy also manages a busy home life with her husband Peter and their two children, Taylor and Jack. Before moving to Peterborough, Tracy and Peter owned and operated Wonderland Training Room, a full service fitness center. Tracy is very active in a variety of fitness activities and as a Certified Personal Trainer with Can-Fit-Pro she strives to inspire others to achieve a healthy, balanced and fit lifestyle.
Christina is a certified level 2 intra oral assistant with a passion for the art of saving natural teeth. Christina's charisma and infectious smile are found to be delightful by our referring dentists and patients alike. With a flair for team work and unsurpassed motivation, Christina is a true asset to our practice. As Kawartha Endodontics is synonymous with endodontic tranquility so is Christina in her gentle yet thorough approach to Endodontic assisting. Christina is a Peterborough native and will continue to be a valuable asset to our unique practice for years to come.
Courtney is a certified level two dental assistant whoís academic accomplishments made her the ideal team member for Kawartha Endodontics diversified team of professionals.
She has been a long-time resident of Peterborough. As one of Dr. Kilislians lead surgical assistants, Courtney is passionate about detail and ensuring patients have the necessary information prior to and after their appointments to ensure and set a goal that the patient experience should always be better than they would have expected.
Chantal graduated in 2012 through Trillium Colleges Peterborough campus dental assisting program.
Dr. Kilislian and Kawartha Endodontics handpicked Chantal from her class at the outset of her enrolling in Trilliumís one year program.
Our office and Chantal worked closely to train her both during and after graduation. Chantal now works as surgical assistant to Dr. Kilislian in conjunction with her collegues. Chantal can be found sometimes at the Toronto office; however, she can be found full time at the Peterborough office.
Sarah P. graduated from Queen’s University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Life Sciences and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education.
In addition, she earned diplomas in dental hygiene and restorative dental hygiene from Durham College and George Brown College respectively. Sarah always a team player was a striker on a national women’s soccer team and currently trains in kick boxing.
She oversees the Toronto office treatment co-ordination for patients with complex treatment plans, multidisciplinary cases or financial issues. When you need an emergency appointment in Toronto, Sarah is your go to contact to ensure you are scheduled in 24 hours a day.
Melissa T, aka MT, has been Dr. Kilislian’s endodontic assistant since 2011 and recently has trained to practice closely with Dr. Serota for both endodontic and implant placement.
MT as seen above with Dr. Kilislian has a smile that is sure to allay patient fears and make their experience as soothing as possible. MT graduated with honors from George Brown College in Pre-Health Science in 2007. She then furthered her education and graduated with honors in the Dental Assisting Program II from Durham College in 2008.
MT in her spare time is a figure skating instructor and also participates in continuing education at offered at both the Toronto and Peterborough clinics of Kawartha Endodontics.
Jennifer has a passion for dentistry and a healthy smile. She has explored a few career paths in the banking industry, business management for spa industry and most recently Dental Assisting Level I and Intra-Oral Dental Assisting Level II.
She brings her strengths and skill set to Kawartha Endodontics as Director of First Impressions. She enjoys getting to know patients and being an ambassador to our referring dentists and patients alike.
Jennifer acts as a liaison between the Toronto and Peterborough offices. She is also event co-ordinator for dental continuing education for the two practice locations. Currently in her spare time, she is enrolled in the University of Toronto’s advanced program on Dental practice management.
Amy is a highly committed individual working cohesively toward a common set of goals. She is a true team player. Within this Team, her pivotal role is that of the Treatment Coordinator Amy is the person that is largely responsible for the ideal New Patient experience. Amy handles the New Patient inquiry on the telephone builds the initial rapport with the patient.
She then welcomes the patient to the Practice, and carry’s out the all-important initial interview. Following the full assessment by Dr. Kilislian, Amy has important responsibilities in taking care of all financing and scheduling issues.
Amy has an unparalleled open minded approach to patient’s needs; moreover, always finds a clever way to accommodate patient needs.
